Isak Heartstone is 15ft of recycled wood and magic. If you love unique sculptures and you're visiting Breckenridge, you can't pass up the opportunity to meet Isak.
Isak Heartstone was created by the Copenhagen artist, Thomas Dambo. He's known for recycling and upcycling materials to build beautiful sculptures.
Isak has recently moved to a new home on the Trollstigtom trail. After having to be relocated from being so popular, he looks like he's definitely found the perfect spot.
The new trailhead is located in the corner of the Stephen C. West Ice Arena parking lot, next to Illinois Gulch Trailhead. If you type in "Isak Heartstone" on google maps, it will lead you right to it! In the parking lot, you will even see painted troll feet leading you to the trail.

During peak season or more busy hours, the parking lot isn't available for public parking according to the Breckenridge website. If you're having trouble with finding a parking spot, it would be an easy walk from town if needed.
It's a very easy trail that's well maintained with stone and a boardwalk to walk on. Beautiful trees line the trail. Go early in the morning or later at night if you want to miss the crowds!
I loved all the details and how he's holding a tree in his right hand. He's the perfect woodland creature to get a picture with!
