There's nothing better than going out on a fall night under the stars with the one you love.
My husband and I try to have a date night at least once a week. We try to find unique and fun things to do to change it up a bit. When I saw that Hocus Pocus was playing at the drive-in movies, I knew I had to go! It's seriously my favorite movie of all time.
We are lucky enough to live near Starlite Drive-in located in Amelia, OH. This drive-in has been here since 1947, and it's a true gem! It always has two movies playing- so you can't beat this price!
They have updated the sound system so all you do is change your car radio to their station, or if you're sitting outside more in the back you'll be able to hear fine on the speaker.
I have an SUV and though it would be cute to turn the back into a bed with a ton of.pullows and blankets! I already had these cute Halloween pillows from Amazon, so it gave me all the spooky, fall cozy feels.
Grab some battery operated string lights for some ambiance! I had these lights already laying around my house, and love the cozy look of fairy lights, so why not??
Pack a picnic! At the Starlite, you can bring as much food and drinks you'd like for only $5! If you love freshly popped popcorn, they also have a concession stand full of good food you can buy.
I love making charcuterie boards for picnics to snack on. It's so easy and just looks amazing with all different foods. We bought a baguette and some cheese. We also brought pumpkin butter and homemade jelly bought from a local farm!

Some tips on visiting this drive-in:
- you can bring your own chairs and sit outside (just have to stay in your area and not put them in a parking spot).
-Get here early to avoid sitting in traffic!
-Buy your tickets online- we had people in front of us, who waited 30min in line have to turn around because it was sold out! Luckily we bought our tickets online and was able to still go!
-if you have a hatchback, follow the rules. We brought ties for ours because we wanted to lay in the car. If you're in front of another car, make sure you can tie yours down enough it's not raised over the roof! - don't be those people!!
