It's September, Witches! My Cincinnati Fall Bucket List For 2021!

Cincinnati Fall Bucket List

It's finally September, witches!

Before you know it, the temperature will cool down, the days will be shorter, and the leaves will start to change the most magnificent colors. My favorite season is almost here! One thing I love most about living in Cincinnati is the incredible autumns we have. Last year I created a Cincinnati Fall Bucket list, and it became one of my most popular posts. This is my new and improved list! I hope to inspire you to have the best season yet!

Fall Festivals

Pups, Pints, and Pumpkins at Blooms & Berries Farm

9669 OH-48, Loveland, OH 45140

If you have a furbaby, this looks like so much fun! During this event you get to take your pup to enjoy the fall festivities at the farm- this includes, a doggy bag, pup cup of treats, and a snifarri (your dog will get to sniff their way through the corn maze with different checkpoints). The beer garden will also be open for the pawrents! This event is on September 24th!

They also have fall festivities throughout the month of October including a sunflower field and pumpkin patch! Check the website for updated information!

Sunflower Festival at Gorman Heritage Farm

10052 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241

Gorman Heritage Farm is home to the annual Sunflower Festival. Enjoy a stunning U-Pick sunflower field, hayrides, farm animals, vendors, food trucks, live music, and much more! This is a weekend event on October 2nd-3rd.

The Centerville Ohio Pumpkin Show

I went to this festival a couple of years ago and had so much fun! You'll see endless rows of pumpkins along with some weighing almost 2,000lbs! Enjoy food trucks, rides, games, and even parades! This event is from Oct. 20th-23rd! It's about 2hrs away from Cincy, but so worth it if you have the time!

Apple Picking

Apple picking season in Ohio starts mid-September, so this is normally my first real fall event. Last year we went to A&M Farms located about 50miles from Cincinnati. It has a great variety of apples and an amazing market! Click here for my blog post from last year! Make sure to follow their Facebook page for updates and the best time to go!

A cozy fall night at the drive-in movies is so perfect! Starlite Drive-In plays fall favorites in the month of October. Last year they played my favorite- Hocus Pocus and we had so much fun! Check out their website for updates and the October movie schedule. You can pay for a $6 food permit per car and bring all of your favorite fall snacks and candy.

Take a trip to Fairborn, OH

I would like to name Fairborn the official Halloweentown of Ohio. The Halloween festival is October 15th-17th this year! This town LOVES Halloween. They even have Halloween stores opened all year round, including a Halloween body parts store! The festival is so much fun, and so many people dress up for it! Enjoy vendors, haunted houses, food trucks, and live music! One of my favorite things about this town is how many people decorate their houses. I loved walking around a looking at all the decorations. It's like nothing I've seen before. Some of the decorations are almost taller than the houses. Please go if you get the chance! It's a little over an hour from Cincinnati.

Take a Ghost Tour with American Legacy Tours

Did you know that the iconic Music Hall is considered one of the "most haunted" places in America? Before it was built, the plot was home to an insane asylum. The grounds around it were used to bury the bodies of the homeless without coffins. There have been many reports of strange activity and seeing ghosts by the employees. Even if you're not a believer, you'll learn a lot about the history of Cincinnati on one of these tours.

Hiking at the Cincinnati Nature Center

4949 Tealtown Rd, Milford, OH 45150

The Cincinnati Nature Center is now open to both, members and non-members. This place has some gorgeous hiking trails, streams, waterfalls, and ponds. It's absolutely gorgeous in the fall! Looking for more beautiful fall foliage spots? Click here for my favorites!
